All program participants will be provided with a comprehensive听Pre-Departure Orientation (non-KSU students will be emailed the presentation). In addition, participants will receive a thorough On-Site Orientation upon arrival in Geneva. Main topics to be covered in the orientation sessions include:

The campus boasts a vibrant and international scene with听over 600听students from over 90 countries and听faculty representing 25 nations.听From your first day on campus, you will find that there is personalized attention to students, with small classes and direct interaction with professors. Our academic facilities are modern, attractive and well-equipped. While study abroad听students will reside in our off-campus housing facility, Les Berges du Rhone, we have a cafeteria, fitness room, study rooms, and other excellent recreational facilities all located on campus.

Geneva is home to the United Nations and other major international organizations, numerous multi-national corporations and a vibrant financial and trading center. These organizations and other cultural institutions can provide you with additional opportunities to augment your learning outside the classroom.
As a participant in the KSU Geneva program, you will stay in the Les Berges du Rh么ne housing facility, located in the center of Geneva on the banks of the Rhone River. The Les Berges du Rhone residence facility houses 118 students in double or single rooms -subject to availability. All units are fully furnished and include linens, a small bathroom towel, cutlery and cooking utensils, study table, and other amenities.听
You will be responsible for purchasing your own food while abroad and may certainly visit the on-campus cafeteria (operated by a French chef!). While single rooms are sometimes available, they must be requested early and will be subject to an elevated housing fee. Students with disabilities and other relevant circumstances will be granted available singles before all others. Traditionally, all students will be placed in a double suite with one听roommate.

Students will provide information regarding their preferred airport of departure and return, and their flight arrangements will be booked by the travel arrangement provider through Webster University. Furthermore, all students accepted to the program听are eligible for the $1,000 WINS Travel Scholarship which will be applied toward the overall round-trip cost of airfare.
Study Tours and Social Activities
In addition to the group excursion听provided during the orientation week, students have the opportunity to engage in a host of activities and campus clubs. Whether you are interested in something cultural, athletic, or artistic- there's something for everyone!
Traveling While Abroad
Geneva is strategically located in the heart of Europe听and serves as an excellent travel starting point to other European听destinations. Academic coursework typically occurs Monday through Thursday, and therefore it is possible for students to travel independently on the weekends. It is the responsibility of the student to speak with their professors and internship coordinator (if applicable) regarding any missed class times/internship hours and receive approval and guidance.
