For more than 10 years, �������ϲ����� at Ashtabula has built a partnership with the technology company ID Networks, giving information technology students real-life experience in their field and helping connect them to a potential employer.  

�������ϲ����� Ashtabula’s annual Giving Tuesday fundraising drive begins on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, highlighted by the campaign to build the Susan J. Stocker Ashtabula Campus Development Fund.

Heading into the 2023-2024 academic year, all involved with the Rising Scholars program on the �������ϲ����� Regional Campuses had their sights set on high-impact and high-energy activities for scholars in every grade.

The Rising Scholars Program, one on each �������ϲ����� campus, combines mentoring with assistance from local communities and businesses to provide support for young adults beginning in seventh grade. 

In recognition of the generosity and commitment of James E. Mayer Jr. and Glen and Nancy Warner for their gifts toward a $500,000 endowment, the �������ϲ����� Board of Trustees approved on Sept. 20 naming the main building at �������ϲ����� at Ashtabula as Susan J. Stocker Hall. 

Starting this fall, �������ϲ����� will offer an evidence-based suicide prevention course through funding from the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation (OSPF). The class will be offered through the �������ϲ����� College of Applied and Technical Studies’ Bachelor of Social Work program at the Ashtabula, Salem and Tuscarawas campuses.

�������ϲ����� is the first university in Ohio to provide the course to its students outside of the original course developers at the University of Cincinnati, Old Dominion University, and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
