The department is comprised of both sworn law enforcement officers and civilian support staff.听Officers have full police authority in the state of Ohio, and the campus is patrolled 24 hours a day.听Officers utilize cruisers, bikes, utility vehicles, and feet to patrol campus and other University-owned property. 听听听听
We maintain our own multijurisdictional emergency communications center. The communications center is staffed with professional public safety telecommunicators capable of effectively communicating with people, determining the best options to assist them, and sending first responders if needed.听 听听听
The community policing philosophy is engrained in our organization.
